It was a go, go, go week ending in the most wonderful weekend! It began with a jaunt over to Petaluma, where my mom, godmother and I had a lovely time playing in the gardens, which are in full swing. Highlights include 'Heritage' roses, California poppies, strawberries, 'Sally Holmes' roses, golden hills, sedum, and KC the (very sweet) deaf watchdog (below, in order).
In preparation for the Saturday market, I harvested penstamon, Shasta daisies, papyrus, chamomile, lambs' ears, sage, borage, mint, and alstroemeria. KC looked on as I loaded my treasures into Buck the Subaru for transport (below).
