We Have A Situation.

A citrus one.  Here's what happened. With Jane's poppy picture still fresh in my mind, I went grocery shopping and splurged on a five pound bag of clemetines. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to me, Mom was visiting a friend down in Fresno. She came home ladden with multiple grocery bags of lemons and oranges.

Now this is not a particularly bad situation to be in, especially if Ben once again comes to the rescue and rigs up an ingenious straining device from an empty milk jug to make quick work of the (labor intensive) lemon juicing process. We took the old adage literally, and enjoyed fancy lemonade made from fresh Meyer lemon juice,  sparkling water, and a touch of sugar. "Problem" solved.

  2. Yay! Glad you like it. I figured everyone else had a photo header, so I'd better get with it.

I've only had spaghetti with lemon juice and seafood stuffs- like shrimps- but was thinking it would be awesome with asparagus, too. Please let us know if you try anything fancy.

And yes, I think the citrus onslaught came just in time to prevent the scurvy. I eat a lot of break and popcorn.
