Test 1-2-3

Yesterday I ran a test run on some vases I'll probably be using for a lovely couple's wedding early this Spring. For the real deal, the colors and flowers will be different. (Floppy garden roses! Maybe some lilac! More sweet pea!). But this trial is a good way to get on the same page in terms of size and shape. Can't wait for their big day!

  2. You and me both. When I saw them at the market I was so excited I forgot to even ask where they were from . . . my guilt in not knowing has diminished my enjoyment of them only very slightly.

  7. Thanks Sarah! I guess I have it pretty easy, though- what wouldn't look good with floppy garden roses, lilac, and sweat peas?

  8. I think whenever I am having even a glimmer of stress about the big day, I will look to this bookmarked blog post - I'll look at these beautiful arrangements and remember that things are going to be great, and no matter what happens the flowers will look awesome.

  9. Jessica, do not fret even a tiny bit about the big day, because I know it is going to be perfect!! Maybe not perfect in the "everything will go exactly as planned" way, but perfect in that you will be so happy surrounded by the love and joy of all your wonderful family and friends that nothing else will matter. The everything "else"- flowers, cake, dress, masculine carpet in the dining room- is just icing on the cake ; ).
