A couple times now, the totally awesome Farmgirl Flowers down in San Francisco has sent folks looking for services in the North Bay my way, and they're always a pleasure to work with! K wanted to thank a particularly wonderful host with a planting of succulents. Here they are, potted up in a California made container from Adam Ceramics. Thank you, K! I hope you have many more lovely visits up here in Wine Country : ).

Here We Go!
A springy little event up at the lovely Silverado Vineyards this weekend marked the end of that convenient lull between the New Year celebrations and Spring weddings (perfect timing for taxes and consultations : ). The arrangements included snapdragons and queen anne's lace from Salinas, parrot tulips from Petaluma, oranges from Suisun Valley, grasses from Wooden Valley, and ranunculus from Pescadero.
It was a small event, so I didn't add my third shelf (below). But soon the little Transit will be bursting with flowers to full capacity once again. Can't wait!
Spring's Zucchinis
Over the years, we've planted hundreds of daffodils bulbs on the hill behind our house. It's beautiful to look out over all their smiling faces, but part of me feels a little a kitchen gardener must feel at the peak of zucchini season; no matter how many I pick, more buds keep coming. Before I got sick of them, I resorted to zucchini tactics and gathered many vases full to send out into the world. Hope you all enjoy them as much as I do!
