Today I took a jaunt to an old farm just outside Burlington to check up on some lilacs I will be designing with this weekend (above). The bushes seem ancient, with branches like the trunks of trees. From inside the grove the sky peeks through in little bloom-fringed patches (below), giving the impression that you are entirely boxed in by a forest of lilacs.
How tall do they get?
ReplyDeleteI'd say these are about 12 to 15 feet. They're pretty out of control.
